Tunnel VisionButternut Creek, Old Erie Canal Park, DeWitt, NY Another creation from my lunch exploration of the Old Erie Canal Park near work last week when we still had some snow. Although the water level was low and it allowed me to get down into the creek, there was some good speed to the water which created the ripples. It was an overcast, winter day so there was nothing of the sky to capture. I am totally in love with the stone work of the aqueduct so I captured a three shot bracket in order to bring out the detail in the shadows. My original plan was to create this image as a B&W, but there was not enough tonal difference between the water and aqueduct and everything turned out the same with this white spot in the middle. I decided to desaturate the image which allowed for the separation of the aqueduct from the water. Comments

Welcome to my little corner of the internet where I will be chronicling my exploration into my photography obsession. I do not have a specific topic or style so the posts will be eclectic and random. I hope that as this site grows you will see improvements in both my photography and my writing.
