Snowy SolitudeMonochrome Winter Mother Nature was not done with us. After a week of nice, above normal weather, winter returned in full force Thursday night/Friday morning. I ended up snow blowing the driveway three times on Friday. I worked from home because after an early attempt on the roads I decided it was not worth attempting. And then, after a short 16 hours of snowing, it was over. The snow hung on everything creating a beautiful winter wonderland. By the middle of the day Saturday the temperature was in the middle 30's and I ventured out to Delta Lake State Park before all the snow fell off the trees. The snow was deep enough to give me quite a workout with the snowshoes. An hour exploring the park with the camera and I was feeling it in my quads. I think I managed to capture some good images. I'll start with a isolated view of a couple of the benches at the edge of the beach...

Welcome to my little corner of the internet where I will be chronicling my exploration into my photography obsession. I do not have a specific topic or style so the posts will be eclectic and random. I hope that as this site grows you will see improvements in both my photography and my writing.
